WOW! I was astounded by how good this is! It reminds me more of the texture of Cream of Wheat than oatmeal. You heat a box of Premier Protein shakes. (I used the Cake Batter flavor) About 1 1/4 cups. Then add two tablespoons of whole Psyllium Husk.
Whisk the mixture, and it will thicken; give it a few minutes. I put a pat of butter, just a few berries, and made cinnamon sugar with a low-carb granular sweetener and cinnamon and sprinkled that on top. I also added just a tiny bit of stevia to the oatmeal. Two tablespoons of psyllium husk have eight carbs and the shake four carbs, so a little carby, but I’m going to experiment with some heavy cream and a little less psyllium husk to bring the carbs down a little. There are lots of health benefits and fiber from psyllium husk also.
