Keto Dinner Rolls

Shared by DeniseM

I wanted to find a great roll for Thanksgiving and this roll is it! They came out so light and fluffy and soft and if I didn't know it I would think this was a carby roll! The key to making these rolls is to make sure you chill the dough. I chilled it before I even tried to roll them into balls because the dough is very sticky. Don’t be alarmed when you see how sticky it is because I think that’s what makes the rolls so nice and fluffy. So after you chill the dough put some oil or butter on your hands to roll the dough into balls. This helped a lot with the dough. I didn’t use a cast iron skillet, but just a baking pan. I couldn’t find my smaller pan, but you want them just to nestle close together so that when they cook the sides will touch and this makes a nice soft roll too. I must have made them a teeny bit larger because I got twenty rolls, so they turned out great doing them that size too.

So, after the very first chilling of the dough, make the balls and put them in a greased pan. Then I chilled them again before I put them in the oven. I personally don’t like dark rolls so I put the temperature down just a little because someone in the Comments said they did that because their rolls got too brown, but I don’t know if that is necessary to do or not. I just don’t like it when there is a crunchy bottom or the rolls or they are too brown on top. I also just brushed some softened butter on top because I didn’t want too much butter getting to the bottom of the pan and making the rolls too crunchy that way. My mother likes crunchy rolls so just cook them how you like them best. I like soft pillowy rolls so that’s what I tried to do and that’s how they turned out! I was SO happy! I hope these rolls make you happy too!

Here I used these amazing rolls for slider buns.

This is a Salmon Patty Slider with Homemade Tartar Sauce served along side a yummy bowl of Keto Bacon and Shrimp Chowder. Both things SUPER yummy!

Here is just a list of the sliders I have made with this great Dinner Rolls recipe. Just put the recipe name in the search box and up the recipe will pop.
